Stayed in the Premier Inn next door so popped in here for some lunch, excellent service from friendly happy staff (Joe and Adele) shown to a table straight away and quickly served drinks and then our food order which arrived in good time. A nice, clean and airy feel to the pub. Also popped in the following morning for our breakfast, an excellent choice of breakfast items whether a full English or a continental and well worth the price. Plenty of hot food to help yourselves to and again the staff were cheery and friendly. Many thanks for helping us enjoy our one night stop over while we were heading to the Peak District for our holiday

Sunday carveries here are delicious. The cauliflower cheese is nice. And a good selection of vegetables to pick. I'm never disappointed with their meals. It is table service here so no need to get up and order at the bar. The staff are really helpful and friendly. Will be definitely coming to visit again soon. Keep up the good work.

Had a wonderful welcome as soon as we walked through the door. Service was great, very polite and cheerful. Rebecca was very helpful, lovely to talk to and a very cheerful personality. Food was delicious would definitely recommend From mckenzie and Claire

First visit here after visiting my sister, Friendly staff with quick service, food was great also for a quick lunch. Will visit again when back over this way.

Been here a few times now after discovering it last month! What keeps us coming back is we know we will get a decent dinner for a fiver! The 5 value meals on mon-fri are amazing, we’ve tried the lasagne, cheeseburger, breakfast flatbread, gammon and a curry - all really tasty. They’ve also cooked the fried eggs to perfection every time I’ve been. We order soft drinks and they taste great, like they would from a shop and not watered down. Kids meals are from 4 and offer lots of choice. Service has always been friendly and the food comes out promptly. Honestly give it a try for a cheap and cheerful meal out!

Came in last night with my Daughter and Son in law 1st time, absolutely lovely pub. The Staff were very friendly and helpful, my mixed grill was gorgeous. It was a bit quiet that's why 4 stars for atmosphere. But they told me the weekend is buzzing,I definitely recommend a visit here. And as Arnie said I'll be back. Oh and a special Thank you to our Waitress who said i looked 20yrs old Your a gem lol. Once again Thank you to All of you

I thoroughly enjoyed the carvery today; it was wonderful once again. The dessert was delightful as well, and I must commend Saskia for her pleasant service. Her warm and attentive approach truly added a genuine touch to the experience.
